De Rijnstroom

Rent a canoe or rowing boat at the Rijnstroom and take a trip through the beautiful Amelisweerd nature reserve. Along the way you can moor at the Rhijnauwen tea house for a cup of coffee with cake or a delicious pancake. Next to it is Rhijnauwen Castle, which is currently used as a youth hostel. A round trip on the Utrecht canals is also an option and is highly recommended. You will sail past beautiful medieval canal houses, countless bridges and of course the cathedral tower. The characteristic wharves are used, among other things, as a terrace and restaurants are located in many wharf cellars.

Price overview of the boats, prices are per boat:

*the 2 person canoe is for 2 people, so not 1 adults and 2 children.

**three adults or two adults and two children up to and including eight years old

***the rowboat is for 5 people

**** a sup is for 1 person

*****the electric boat is for 7 people (this includes children)

 NB:

• For the rental of a vessel, a valid ID is required.
• If you depart from the Rijnstroom, you pay per canoe or boat, not per person.
• You can only pin with us, we do not accept cash.
• We provide free water bags and life jackets with the rental.
• 1 water bag per vessel.
• You can park for free after 11:00 in the morning and on weekends at our rental location (can be very busy in good weather.)
• Whisper boat: you can sail with the electric boat to Odijk or through the canals and Singels of Utrecht, we rent the whisper boats in blocks from 09:30 am to 12:30 pm from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. (These time blocks cannot be adjusted due to charging the battery.
